The Masters has suspended play a day before the tournament tees off
Players were out on course for another practice round ahead of tomorrow’s tee-off.
But organisers confirmed the course has been evacuated “due to inclement weather”.
The Masters preparation has already been disrupted this week, with severe weather preventing the players from going out on the course on Monday.
The weather was expected to turn sour today, with tornado, thunderstorm and hail warnings all over Georgia.
The Masters’ prelude – the Par-3 tournament – is scheduled to take place at 5pm BST but there are concerns the weather may be too disruptive.
Course organisers are already worried about the spongey greens at Augusta following a spate of inclement weather.
